Overview

In 1908 a small group of winemakers, just 14, encouraged by fusion and aggregation gave rise to the "Premiata Cantina Forlivese", one of the first Italian cooperative wineries which, still today, shares the same founding spirit of valorisation of wines and the territory as attempt to develop local viticulture. Hand in hand with the vital impetus that characterized Italy following the Second World War, the cooperative expressed a strong desire for growth, including material growth, incorporating the Cantina Sociale of Forlimpopoli in 1989, the Cantina Sociale of Predappio in 2000 and in 2007 the Cooperativa Agricola la Bidentina, extending its activity to the cereal sector; confirming the constant commitment to qualitative improvement and development, always in the name of environmental sustainability. To meet the new production needs, works have been started to expand and redevelop the cellar, with the creation of modern systems and continuously updated technological innovation, for a total of approximately 60,000,000 liters of storage capacity. Today Cantina Forlì Predappio is a cooperative made up of 1712 members, it adheres to and represents one of the founding members of the Caviro group.
