Executive Summary: Canada China Small and Medium Enterprises (CCSME) is an association aiming to help Chinese and Canadian small to medium-sized enterprises in order to create more efficient communication and potential collaboration between each other. Nowadays, as the globalization rolls over in the business world, both Canadian and Chinese small to medium-sized enterprises are facing the need and necessity to expand overseas, that is where CCSME comes in. With a wide range of connections, activities and events, CCSME provides a platform for meaningful communication, and solution offering in all aspects from various professional expertise, industrial, legal, cultural and financial, etc. In ancient years there was the “Silk Road” that connected China and the occidental world making bilateral trades of different goods and service possible. We as CCSME are hoping to serve business and business people across diverse industries as the new era “Silk Road” between Canada and China of our times. Mission: CCSME is devoted to gathering business and business people especially catering for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the bilateral trade environment between Canada and China. Meanwhile it is aiming also to bring together nonprofit organizations and professionals with various specialty in business service field. Under the economic globalization context by serving as a meeting point of business from both Canada and China SME to share insights of how business is conducted nowadays between the above said two countries, CCSME is where Small and Medium business will be enabled to discover original perspectives about operating in Canada-China environment and to obtain the necessary assistance they can utilize to ensure such projects being operated in an hassle-free fashion.
