Overview
Our first coffee roasting plant was funded in 1951 by Bartolomeo Camardo, after coming back from South America, where he learnt all about the production of quality coffee. Camardo first focused on premium quality market in its region and then in Italy. The turning point was in the 70s when our company reached the markets of Australia, Canada and USA. At present our coffee is exported in more than 20 countries. Today our company has expanded its production lines with new packaging machines and coffee capsule filling machine, and we can offer a wide range of compatible coffee capsules (Nespresso, Lavazza Espresso Point, Lavazza a Modo Mio, Nescafé Dolce Gusto*) (*The brand does not belong to Camardo S.p.A. nor its affiliated companies). Our best-sellers are our closed-system capsules, that guarantee the excellence of an Italian espresso at home or at work. Our roasting plant is located in Ripalimosani, near Campobasso, Molise, Italy. It covers an area of 20,000 square meters. There are 14 production and packaging lines, that allow us to produce all the range of our products: Ho.Re.Ca., Retail, Coffee pods and Compatible Capsules, Camardo System and Gourmet Products. Particular attention has always been paid to the Ho.Re.Ca. sector, addressee of our Academia Master Baristi® training. Thanks to the latest manufacturing equipment and our family’s four generations industrial experience, we can achieve the highest levels of know-how in our plant.
