Overview

Calgary Surf Club will nurture and build, in active collaboration with our membership, an accessible and friendly river surf culture, focused on safety, fun, and exemplary river stewardship. Founded in 2016 by Ryan and Luke Morstad, Surf Club has 3 major goals. 1. Raise $20 000 to promote river sports, with a focus on river surfing, in Calgary, Alberta 2. To facilitate ease of access to the sports of Surfing and River Surfing. This includes providing lessons and organizing trips to surf destinations at an affordable price level. 3. To create an inclusive, safety focused, Calgary University surf community Surf Club currently operates at SAIT and Mount Royal University, and collaborates with the Alberta River Surfing Association
