Considering the specifity of the process and the size of the industrial unit, Caima searches for niche markets, focusing on the production of dissolving pulp for applications in textile and chemical industries. Caima produces eucalyptus pulp through sulphite, bleached entirely without using chlorine or its derivatives (TCF-Totally Chlorine Free pulp). These specific qualities confer special properties to the cellulose pulp and make it particularly suitable for viscose and other chemical applications. Caima also produces lignosulphonates which are mainly used in the construction industry.
