Overview

CAEPA Cameroon is a national non-governmental organization which was started by a group of female volunteers in 2009 who, after serving in the Cameroon’s civil service, decided to offer their knowledge for the development of the local communities in the North West Region and Cameroon in general. CAEPA Cameroon focuses efforts in the domain of health, agriculture, the environment, Orphan and Vulnerable Children, Human Right, Governance and propose solutions focusing on women and minority groups like the Mbororo. ABOUT US: Our Mission Community Agriculture and Environmental Protection Association Cameroon's mission is to improve the living conditions of the rural poor especially women, the girl child and Mbororo Fulani Pastoralist. It also gives community development volunteers a forum for discussion at local, national, and international levels to identify community problems and propose solutions for development issues relating to women and Mbororo Fulani Pastoralists. Our Vision Contribute to a Society where everybody lives a descent life Our Goal CAEPA Cameroon’s goal is to equip community members with knowledge and skills that will create a positive change in their communities Our Objectives • To ensure Socio-economic initiatives amongst women and Mbororo groups, • To enhance Crop and livestock production and productivity for women and Mbororo, • To enhance Environmental friendly practices in schools/communities, • To ensure HIV/Aids education in communities, • To promote Information communication technology for effective community Development OUR WORK: CAEPA Cameroon focuses on several program areas including women and minority empowerment, Building sustainable soil, Environmental Education, Orphan & Vulnerable Children (OVC), Human Rights, Governance and Biodiversity conservation that spans across the Mezam and Ngoketunjia Divisions of the North West Region of Cameroon.
