CADESS is an AI-based decision support solution for use by board-certified pathologists and urologists in the diagnosis and treatment planning of prostate cancer. In contrast to existing solutions, CADESS works on the glandular level, identifying the malignancy grades of individual glands. This glandular approach is highly accurate and enables visual confirmation of the results by a color-coded map of the glands, each color representing one malignancy grade. CADESS.AI was spun out from Uppsala University in 2016 with the mission to improve patient outcome and reduce healthcare costs for prostate cancer by delivering innovative digital pathology decision support solutions. The company is headquartered in Uppsala, Sweden, but has operated since the beginning of 2021 from New Jersey, USA.
