Budweiser Budvar is brewed only in Budweis and has been established since 1895. Regularly regarded as one of the finest lagers in the world Budvar is now exported to over 80 countries including the UK. The cellars are where the Budweiser Budvar magic happens. Creating a lager that brings flavours together like a symphony from the finest of orchestras takes time. That is why Budvar is matured for up to 90 days. In fact the total brewing process is nearer 100 days. Every single day helps to fine tune those flavours. The maturation time isn’t without expense, but as the Boss of our brewery says. ‘Life is not only about economics. Beer is a special product. It requires emotion to make it well.’ He is a brewer, not an accountant. No offence to accountants we just know that brewers make better tasting beer. It's giving you the best taste we can that is important to us. No short cuts.
