Brothers in Yoga is a non-profit organization that helps IDF veterans suffering from combat shock.โค๏ธ Our goal is to illuminate the way for people to gain control over the remnants of past trauma. We emphasize observing and practicing the present, in this moment. Alongside processing combat experiences through discourse, therapy and sharing, we are now learning that it is also possible to change traces of the past through physical experiences that directly contradict and change the experiences of helplessness, rage and collapse that are part of the trauma, and thus regain self-control and inner strengthening.๐ Our program is based on a program established in the USA that has been very successful. Yoga has proven to be an effective and simple tool, available to anyone, anywhere, to help cope with PTSD effects on daily life.
