At Brann’s, we’ve reinvented ourselves as a casual dining restaurant in a sports bar disguise. In 1960 John Brann Sr. opened the first John Brann’s Steakhouse in Grand Rapids Michigan. This is where the famous Sizzling Steak got its beginning. John wanted to make sure that families could go out to eat and get a great meal at a great price. The idea caught on because they were selling 800 Sizzling Steak dinners on Saturday nights! WOW! About Us: Now, Brann’s Steakhouse & Grille boasts 11 locations across Michigan .
