Boxer Rescue Of Vermont provides rescue and assistance to boxer dogs and other brachiocephalic breeds that are unwanted, endangered, neglected, abused, or in kill shelters. We immediately provide them with a veterinary examination, medical care, sterilization, test & treat for parasites, injury or illness, and a microchip. When the dog is ready we introduce each into a carefully screened foster home where they can heal from spay-nueter and they are given the opportunity to assimilate into a loving home environment in preparation of finding them a well-matched adoption placement. Volunteer Foster homes are the Backbone of our rescue, providing dogs with love, nutritional food, fresh water, crate, bed, toys, basic training, and socialization while rescue searches for the best matched home to adopt them.
