Overview

The Boulder Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is a joint City of Boulder/Boulder County organization that plans, coordinates and supports a wide-range of activities that help prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and large-scale emergencies, while also reducing vulnerabilities to hazards through mitigation efforts. The mission of Boulder OEM is to develop, coordinate and lead a comprehensive emergency management program. We seek to enable effective preparation for, efficient response to, and effective recovery from emergencies and disasters, in order to save lives, reduce human suffering, protect resources and develop a more resilient community.
