Overview

-Nexus & Frontaura was established in 1996 by the Frontaura Group and Ulpiano Gonzalez & Camino Pardo family, which heritage in the wine business in the DO Toro comes back from centuries, where their ancestors used to produce and traded wines for generations. In 1996 they decided to put together all this knowledge on the 3 wine areas among the most well reputed in Spain and in the world: Toro, Ribera de Duero and Rueda, and they started the Frontaura Group. Nowadays Nexus & Frontaura export to more than 18 countries. One family: Three wineries. -Frontaura Winery is located in the Spanish town of Villabuena del Puente in the province of Zamora. The estate has 120 hectares of the local Tempranillo Tinta de Toro variety in production and is registered under the Appellation of Origin Toro, currently one of the most appreciated regions by critics like Rober Parker, prestigious chefs, gourmets and wine lovers. Quality and innovation are the values that summarize the brand’s concept and have positioned the winery as a reference of modernity and quality. -Nexus Winery is located in the heart of Ribera del Duero, in the town of Pesquera de Duero. A 4700 square meter winery which is the most technologically modern winery in Ribera de Duero, with production control software that records all parameters, including temperature, generation of heat and cold, moisture control, fermentation charts, and a capacity of process 300,000 kilos of grapes from our vineyards. The development of the Nexus range of wines combines traditional techniques such as the manual selection of the best grapes and ripening in wooden vats made from the best French Allier oak, with the most modern winemaking processes. -Frontaura Rueda Winery produces white wines from the local Spanish grape variety Verdejo, under the Appellation of Origin Rueda which is located among the provinces of Valladolid, Segovia and Ávila and with a hand selected harvest of the grapes under our parameters of quality culture.
