Bobbejaanland has been a permanent asset in the theme park landscape of the Benelux for many years now. Since the opening in 1961, the park has grown from a theatre hall with swimming pond into an amusement park with more than 40 attractions for all ages. In 2004, the park was acquired by one of the world's leading amusement park operators, the Spanish Parques Reunidos.
