Overview

Blue Genomics Chile is a Consortium formed by AquaGen Chile, AquaGen Norway and Vaxxinova Norway. Blue Genomics is dedicated to Research and Development in the field of aquaculture and genetics. We are mainly focused on the Development of tools for the genetic improvement and breeding of Atlantic salmon, coho salmon and rainbow trout. We develop tools for optimization of breeding programs, which reach from genetic markers, genomic selection, fertilization techniques, statistical analysis of big data sets etcetera.
