Overview
Blooming Willow Coaching was formed in 2012 after noticing a gap in culturally relevant coaching for communities. To address this need, Blooming Willow began offering one-on-one coaching and training that took a more holistic approach, providing supports for Change Makers to look at the multiple layers of their lives. This is because our core belief is that every person has something special to offer, and when they are in true alignment they can fully contribute to society. Therefore, our goal is simple: to support as many people as possible to discover authentic voice and genuine choice, by being partners in their liberation. The way that we achieve this is through our signature Healing Centered Coaching. DEFINITION Healing Centered Coaching™is a teaching, training and empowerment strategy; that provides an opportunity for clients to simultaneously focus on growth and healing. The aim of the approach is to invite slowing down, getting present, exploring possibilities and designing strategies that support intentional action and wholistic wellbeing. Healing Centered Coaching invites reflection, awareness building, partnership, engagement, and accountability. The Healing Centered Coaching Model emphasizes engaged listening rather than advise giving, asking the right questions rather than providing answers, and presenting Changemakers and teams with opportunities to develop their own solutions rather than giving directions. This model of coaching is designed to help Changemakers and their teams grow and heal. Healing Center Coaching supports clients to gain: The awareness of the need to PAUSE, giving themselves permission to take time away from everything else for themselves. The ability to GROUND, tapping into what is important for them in the present moment. The skills to explore ALIGNMENT, sorting through multiple possibility to determine the best way forward. The clarity needed to ACT, identifying next steps that support growth and healing.
