Overview

Blockchain at Moorpark College (BCMC) is an ecosystem of students, academics, and community members, teaching the compelling technology known as the blockchain. We host workshops, guest speakers, and social events to bring blockchain awareness to the local community. The diverse ecosystem is comprised of mainly: Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Majors. Mission Statement: To provide a community for students to discuss the fundamental ideas of Blockchain Technology. The students are enabled to have open discussions amongst one another about the future of Blockchain Technology. This space will provide a beneficial knowledge of what Blockchain Technology is, how it might impact the future of our society in various sectors and provide a hands-on experience of analyzing multiple Blockchain projects. Vision Statement: Our vision is to expand blockchain awareness among diverse interdisciplinary fields of study to encourage more people to become involved in important blockchain projects.
