Overview

Bitácora & Territorio is a private consultancy organization, interested in public affairs and the pursue of collective development. Since January 2014, we promote sustainability and social inclusion by designing participative strategies with local territories (territorial approach), in which our articulating capacity and technical know how have proven to be valuable. We work under three strategic lines: 1. Policies, planning and institutionality: we advise on the design of public policies, regional agendas, roadmaps and territorial development solutions. 2. Sustainable and collective management of the territory: we strengthen relationships and open communication channels between public and private institutional actors and communities, to promote a culture of participation and contribute to the management of territorial conflicts 3. Functional and competitive territories: we contribute to the construction of favorable environments to promote private investment and the insertion of regions into local and global markets thus shortening the gaps between territories. Throughout the lines, we acknowledge first local capacities: rather than proposing solutions, we accompany and strengthen ongoing processes through participatory, differential and innovative methodologies, in which the actors of the territory lead the transformations that improve their living conditions.
