Bin Naqshe Kadam initially started as a small-scale travel project in 2018, got registered in August 2020 and since then has been on a roller-coaster ride as a bootstrapped entity. On its inception, we did not know how people would react to such a concept where they know next to nothing about the trip- where they are headed, means of travel or accommodation. People aren’t quick to trust someone blindly. One of our travellers once merrily called this concept “kidnapping with consent”. Bin Naqshe Kadam aims to help each traveller get a taste of how to make the best use of the available resources, how to look for easy solutions to huge problems, how to trust your gut feeling and intuition, how to find true happiness in the small moments of joy, to go with the flow, to travel without limiting yourself, and in the process becoming limitless. None of the travellers travelling with us know where they are going. ‘Travel without knowing where you are travelling to’ is our motto. From each of our trips, we came back with travellers whose lives had changed, whose outlook on a lot of things in life changed; we came back with better humans. Was it the unexplored and untouched nature that healed their soul, the tough night trek that strengthened them, the bonfire conversations that brought them closer to their self, or the random lifts that made them carefree? We don’t know but we’ve been told there’s magic running through BNK. If you ever travel with Bin Naqshe Kadam or have attend any of our events, a part of BNK stays with you for life. BNK is not just about travelling. It is a way of life. It does not start and end with a trip, it is something that resides in you, at all times. Something that reminds you at your worst to look for solutions, to help others, to have deep conversations, and share experiences and life lessons. It is an emotion that guides to be kind and humble. It is about relationships, friendships and bonds, about jokes, memories and smiles.
