Overview

BIA Brands is helping B2B companies be "thought leaders" on LinkedIn through a content-first approach to marketing. Every CEO, founder & company leader should be creating content; end of discussion. Despite the "I don't have anything to say" argument, MANY of us have perspectives, experiences, soap-boxes, & lessons-learned, that if packaged correctly, builds personal & corporate brands. Despite the "I don't want my face on the internet" argument, our face is the best way to build trust, credibility & rapport with our audience, which ultimately makes "sales" easier. And despite the "we're too busy" argument, busy companies have the most powerful things to say, filled with 'aha' moments, fresh ideas & real-world examples. Content should be educational, inspirational, entertaining, or all of the above. And we help companies build an effective online strategy that highlights in-house expertise & opinions through an efficient, off-the-cuff style approach. We may not like it, but catchy-headlines & 30 second clips rule the world. The ability to write things in a simple way that everyone understands is a superpower. And making content which someone sees at 6AM - sitting on the toilet - on their smartphone - while their spouse tries to sleep…and STOPS them from SCROLLING...is the objective. ...And I PERSONALLY built this playbook! Wearing the "marketing hat" in a series of startups for the past decade, working with brilliant technical people in industries I generally knew nothing about, I became an excessive note-taker (and a damn-good listener). Instead of using MY words to write websites, catchy slogans & sales scripts, I used my customers' words. Instead of using MY ideas for blog posts, infographics & micro videos, I leveraged my business partners as "the real experts." The end-result was BIA Brands. And it's been fun!
