Beyond Dreams is a renowned film and TV production company founded in 2003 by director and producer Abdullah Boushahri. The company's mission has always been to produce films with artistic value and a global appeal. Beyond Dreams began producing content and premiered its first feature-length film, LOSING AHMAD, at the Dubai International Film Festival in 2006. The documentary won Best Documentary and was screened at over 30 festivals worldwide. In 2009, Beyond Dreams co-produced "THE CIRCLE," the first MBC fictional movie ever made, in partnership with MBC. The next year, the company designed and produced the permanent films screened at the tallest tower in the world, the Burj Khalifa. Abdullah Boushahri earned the prestigious IWC Filmmaker Award at the Dubai International Film Festival, which he received from Golden Globe winner actress Emily Blunt and Golden Globe nominee director Marc Forster, for his feature film The Water. Since 2017, Beyond Dreams has produced more than 150 hours of prime-time television drama broadcast on all major TV channels and platforms in the Middle East. The company continues to develop and produce Film & TV content regionally and internationally, and its recent work includes producing the first Netflix Original in Kuwait and the Gulf Region, The Exchange, which was highly acclaimed by both audiences and critics alike.
