Overview

Co-founded by two Penn alumni in 2016, BelieveAchieve is a volunteer-run ed-tech initiative seeking to provide on-demand educational and guidance services to disadvantaged high school students in the U.S. We hope to provide these students with extra support in order to achieve success in their academic, personal, and professional lives. Our comprehensive approach will consist of free, online, and on-demand tutoring and college counseling. In partnership with NYC-based 501c3 Urban Upbound, our upcoming pilot (launching in 2017) will focus on providing math tutoring as well as college-focused mentorship and admissions advice to low-income students in the NYC metropolitan area. In the future, we hope to scale the BelieveAchieve model to additional disadvantaged high school students across the U.S.
