In 1998, Tapas Gupta started Confluence Communication Ltd., with a group of professionals from McCann Erickson Worldwide and with some reputed clients. After a 23 year long & illustrious career with M-E agencies in India and abroad providing leadership to M-E’s global brands like ITC, Nestle, Gillette, Coca-Cola, Reckitt & Colman and after becoming the President & CEO of a McCann Erickson agency in India, the urge to do something new and different inspired Mr. Gupta to start this venture. Some of BEI Confluence's Founder clients like DFM Group (makers of Crax brand, India’s No.1 extruded children’s snack), Insecticides India Ltd. (a leading brand in the agro-chemical industry) continue to work with the Agency for twenty-three years now, and such partnerships have been exciting & stimulating and continue to grow each day. Today BEI Confluence is a reputed large mid-sized 360 communication power-house with over 100 professionals across 3 offices providing communication services to more than 30 clients and handling over 60 brands most of which are in the FMCG & B2C domains.
