With an investment strategy aligned with the mission of Energy Innovation Center Institute (EICI), a 501c.3 not-for-profit located in Pittsburgh, Bedford has pledged a portion of its fees and carry to the EICI, and other similar not-for-profits, to help these groups continue their efforts to drive transformational change in energy, technology, and workforce development - with a specific target to help at-risk and equity & inclusion populations. The Fund is managed by a team of private equity and industry executives that have collectively managed nearly $2.1 billion in private equity portfolios and public company assets over the last 25 years. Rich DiClaudio, the Fund's CEO has 35 years in private equity leadership and is also a founding board member & CEO of the EICI. The other members of the leadership team include the CEO and CFO of a very large family office investment group, a Senior Vice President of a $15B public company who has recently built a large national workforce development business unit from scratch and two CEO's of multiple strategy-related tech start ups.
