Bébénca Organics, is a Seattle based, GOTS certified, sustainable, organic baby clothing brand. Reshma Koradia, an apparel designer, founded Bébénca Organic on the core ethic of sustainability and conscious living for all. All her designs are gender neutral and for all-seasons. As a fashion designer, she had secretly harbored a strong passion to design baby clothes as it is the only clothing product that can make everyone smile. She aspired to share these smiles also with those who make such beautiful clothes for our children and with our beautiful planet. This put her on a mission to create a sustainable, organic and eco-friendly cotton product that embodies the ethic of care and protection for our soil, our rivers, our air, the farmers, the workers, the parents and the babies. Through her work, she hopes we can strive together to do our bit for the future of our planet and our children. To make this dream a reality, Reshma left her corporate job at Microsoft to pursue what she likes to call, “My Smile Project”. Compostable Packaging What's in the name? Bébé is French for baby. Bébénca is inspired from ‘Bibink’ – dessert from Reshma's childhood days in Goa, which symbolizes the happy and playful days. Through Bebenca, she hopes to create the same sweet memories of safe, carefree, and happy days for every child.
