Welcome to the official website of BCN eMotorsport, the Formula Student team of the city of Barcelona, which is developed thanks to the Industrial Engineering and Telecommunications schools of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). The team was born in 2007, being a pioneer in Spain and leading the development of an electric and autonomous single-seater with which it competes during the summer competitions with the best teams worldwide. Since 2007 a new car has been presented every year: 4 combustion (CAT01, CAT02, CAT03 and CAT04) and 9 electric (CAT05e, CAT06e, CAT07e, CAT08e, CAT09e, CAT10e, CAT11e, CAT12e and CAT13e). In 2019, the first autonomous vehicle (XALOC) was presented. After that, in 2020, Xaloc was improved in all its aspects. Last year, we built the first fusion car in the team's history, the CAT14x. We are now in the process of manufacturing this year's challenger, the CAT15x.
