Our story began in early 1920’s when Cpt. Arif Bayraktar started off the business from a small machinery plant where pistons were repaired and shafts were maintained. In 1947, the company owned two vessels. The only aim were to build their own steel vessels with their own capital while protecting their earned respect within the national market. With that aim in mind, it did not take so long to reach to that dream. Company’s first steel constructed vessel was built in 1978; still serving within Turkish Cabotage waters. The company now owns 13 modern ships including two supramax type bulk carriers, reaching to a total of 229,000 dwt; serving to valued customers worldwide.
