Base-A is a venture capital investor for young people made by young people. Its focus is on super-early-stage digital start-ups with two main companies currently under asset management. In addition to micro-capital funding, Base-A provides entrepreneurial services and operational support to its portfolio companies to transform conceptual ideas into start-up businesses, prepared for their first seed investment. Our expertise covers management, financing, activation, digital marketing, analytics, AI and software development. We are connected to a network of more than 10 experts around the world across the startup building stack. Our portfolio includes companies such as Weedyoulike and Bonapp. Base-A was founded in 2020 and is managed by Davide Cogliati, Simone Tornioli and Michele Cogliati. In addition to its headquarters in Milan, Base-A has touch points in Amsterdam and Basel.
