Overview

Bar Ilan's Model United Nations academic program cultivates leadership and diplomacy among participants via the simulation of UN committees combined with workshops on the topics of negotiation, resolution writing, public speaking and more. BarMUN works in cooperation with IMUNA (Israeli Model United Nations Association) and UN simulations are practiced within the program in addition to IMUNA conferences where students have the opportunity to meet diplomats, ambassadors, and other leaders. BarMUN invites foreign service workers and politicians to the program to teach participants how to master their fields and leadership abilities. Sessions take place once a week for two hours a session and conferences, often once a month.
