The Bangladesh Maritime Law Society (BMLS) was founded for the study and research of maritime and admiralty law, case laws, the development of a prominent maritime legal sector, the protection and preservation of marine environments, as well as the development of maritime jurisprudence in Bangladesh through promoting, assisting, and training juvenile legal scholars, law students, and professionals
