The Bahrain Society for Training & Human Resources Development (BSTD) is a Bahraini forum of HR and Management professionals committed to enhancing the capability of the workforce through continuous people development and the promotion of excellence in people management. BSTD is a non-profit-making association that enables like-minded individuals to come together to share knowledge and experiences for the benefit of all through a network of learning, knowledge and professional development. Originally launched in 1979, BSTD is now actively involved in every aspect of human resource development, and supports and contributes to the promotion of human resource management at both national and international levels. The Society is run for its members, by its members. Members constitute the General Assembly from which a Board of eleven is elected every two years. The Board, which meets on a monthly basis, is the governing authority for the Society.
