Overview
Bad Dog’s Mantra – “Imagine, Dare, Create!” Bad Dog’s Mission – To inspire youth from diverse cultures to experience the power and freedom to imagine, dare, and create new possibilities, individually and collaboratively, through the creative arts. Bad Dog’s Vision - Bad Dog envisions a world wherein youth from diverse cultures help create and share new possibilities that inspire and transform their lives and communities through art. Art Changes Lives, One Child at a Time -Long-term involvement is a key component of Bad Dog’s philosophy. Encouraging a long-term commitment from our families allows staff to get to know each young person and their abilities, thus making it possible to provide individualized attention to each young person’s progress. Building trusting relationships and consistency in the lives of children and teens is an essential foundation for future success. Opportunities in the Arts -Bad Dog Students are involved in a diversity of art projects utilizing all aspects of the fine arts, such as: Drawing • Painting • Sculpture • Printmaking • Creative Writing • Multimedia • Creative Movement
