Overview

In June 2020 the B4T Empowerment GmbH (Limited Liability Company) has been founded in Germany to support socially oriented companies and start-ups especially in the global South. Since then, B4T Empowerment was able to consult and invest in multiple companies primarily in Africa. While the company formally operates in the “for-profit” sector, the goals of the company are not the increase of profit, but rather to contribute towards the alleviation of poverty by supporting businesses to provide dignified jobs, especially for disadvantaged people in the global South.
