The world we live in ceaselessly moves forward and nobody wonders electric vehicles moving by Ukrainian roads. The reliability and source saving such transport perform convince that hybrids or electric transport are inevitably going to dominate in the nearest future. But what about airspace? It is obvious for now that the electric engine is not capable to compete with hydrocarbon ones due to its necessity to be recharged by the batteries that should be transported by aircraft or helicopter all the time. While the burning of 1 kilo of gasoline produces 12000 W of electric power and 1 kilo of battery has a potency to produce just a 250 W such competition is senseless. However, the hybrid engines, that comprise beneficial features of both – hydrocarbon and electric kinds of engines, have a potency to such competition. The simultaneous use of both types of energy allows constructing modern helicopters with fascinating properties. We wouldn’t be so sure unless we have already tested such a hybrid! At the beginning of August 2020, the "Aviation Company Vector" LLC got a patent for the resentful technical solution. It means that the new era is coming!
