AVESTIN LIMITED was formed in 2016 by family and friends who believed in an idea for a better scaffold sheet tie. The partners are made up of some from the scaffolding industry, and others that are not. We all have our strengths in various areas and this is what made the company a success and got us where we are today. Zaptye™ is a modern, reusable alternative to current scaffold sheet tie options on the market today. It is used for sheeting scaffold where projects require protection from falling debris and the elements. Zaptye™ operates much quicker than alternatives such as the bungee tie. Over the past 7 years we have invested in researching, developing, trialling multiple prototypes and refining the Zaptye™ Having strength tested it locally in East Devon to ensure it passes British Safety Standard requirements and having received positive feedback from our market research, you’ll be amazed at how much time you save. The Zaptye™ has one UK patent granted, plus a second pending in UK, Europe, USA and Canada.
