The Autonomous Municipality of Aguadilla was founded in 1775 and is located at the northwest coast of the Puerto Rico Island in the Caribbean. Its territory is divided by 16 districts or “barrios” with a territorial extension of 75.6 sq miles and a population density of 1,665.7 by square mile. Aguadilla is one of the main growing cities in PR thanks to its Entrepreneurial City Government.
