Overview

The Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) is the peak industry body representing Australia's nearly $40 billion tourism export sector. With more than 850 members across Australia, our views are formed by the broadest cross-section of the Australian tourism industry. Our core focus is to present opportunities to our members that will connect their products and services with the most effective distribution channels in key overseas markets. We also deliver key training and development programs that will assist our members to more effectively engage in the inbound arena. Importantly, ATEC is the voice of inbound tourism in Australia and actively engages in key debates and policy development to improve the operating environment for the inbound industry.
