Overview

The Department of Commerce and Management Studies (DCMS) came into existence in 1934 by offering B.Com (Hons) programme for the first time in South India. Further in 1957 the Department was the first to start the two-year MBA Full-time programme in India and produced talented executives for over five decades who have been occupying coveted positions in India and abroad. DCMS is also a member of Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS), the largest network of B-schools in the world outside US. It provides an ideal study environment with spacious classrooms, lecture halls, seminar and multi-purpose halls, library, computer lab, waiting hall to girls and residential accommodation for its students.
