Overview

The Atlantic Canada Water and Wastewater Association (ACWWA) is your regional connection to the water and wastewater industry. ACWWA is the Atlantic Canadian section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and a member association of the Water Environment Federation (WEF). Who do we represent? Industry Professionals, Utilities, Municipalities, Operators, Universities, Consultants, and more! AWWA is an international non-profit scientific and educational society dedicated to the improvement of drinking water with over 60,000 members representing every part of the water profession. WEF is an association of over 35,000 members focused on preserving and enhancing the global water environment by providing members with the necessary tools to improve quality of life through the sustainable management of water resources, water protection, and the water and wastewater environment. Our Structure The ACWWA is comprised of volunteers from across the water and wastewater industry that hold positions at the three association levels: executive, board, and committee. These volunteer positions are held together by the work of our dedicated Executive Director, Clara Shea.
