In all cases, the essence of Atelier Pacific’s contribution lies in the thoughtful and careful creation of spaces - evident not only in sophisticated retail or complex office planning, but also in modern urban infrastructure and transport projects. This public-oriented sensibility is registered in subtle and far-reaching terms in the case of urban design programmes or signage and graphics systems that identify and direct circulation, as implemented for, among others, the Bangkok ‘Sky Train’, Hong Kong Tourism Board, the Taiwan High Speed Rail and the Dubai Metro. Founded in Hong Kong in 1995, the studio is guided by the philosophy of its management team, whose previous professional experience in Europe and North America provides a valuable pool of knowledge gained from working with world-renowned design practitioners and established international management companies.
