The Association is a civic organization acting under the laws of Ukraine that brings together the majority of private Ukrainian companies of the defense industry. During the last several years the member companies of the Association has provided the Armed Forces of Ukraine with considerable amount of armored vehicles, air-defense capabilities, electronic warfare devices, drones, other modern armaments and military equipment. The Goal of the Association: • creating competitive environment and ensuring existence of level field for all participants of the Ukrainian armaments market; • decreasing the level of state regulation and liquidation of corruption-fostering conditions in the defense industry; • preventing monopolization of the Ukrainian armaments market by the state-owned enterprises or their conglomerates; • liberalizing export-import of armaments, improving effectiveness of export controls; • simplifying and streamlining the laws in the sphere of the armaments and military equipment market regulation; The ultimate goal of the Association is to increase Ukraine’s defense capabilities by means of providing the Armed Forces with the modern armaments and military equipment, to achieve maximum compatibility with NATO standards, effective and transparent use of the state defense resources.
