The AHC is tasked to be established under article seven (7) clause four (4) of the ABSS 16’ constitution, which provides mandate to consist of a Chairperson who is the Health Officer of ABSS and executive members of all levels through vetting and appointments. The committee is subjected to be tasked with missions in support of the Presidency and members. Article five (5) clause eleven (11) gives mandate to induction of a Health Officer to undertake section ‘A’ of the 2016 constitution. Article six (6) ‘1e’, clause four (4) also provides constitutional rule to setup a sub-committee to undertake members’ health related policy making & campaigns and community outreaches.
