Overview

Asigny is a task management system that allows us to track and assign various types of tickets (tasks) to dedicated personnel, where tasks can be attached to specific objects to record the history of the activities performed against them. The system is designed in a way that new tickets are possible to add through designated API that can be connected to any ERP, Inventory or other external system to later aggregate data about performed tasks, sub-tasks, or specific activities with data including things like time spent on task/sub-task, the person who performed the task, time windows of execution, attachments of images that can be assigned to specific tasks or sub-tasks respectively and any other data that has been input by the person performing this task after it has been finished. It can also track materials used to perform activities and with the connection to the inventory system allow to track the flow of the material used. The system is divided into two main components used in everyday work - planning interface that can be accessed from any web browser as well as a mobile application for both mobile phone and tablet devices used by personnel performing the activities. While primarily created to help perform logistic and servicing activities for objects in distant locations of each other by using optimal route finding algorithms, it is flexible enough and has also been piloted in the manufacturing industry to track the activities performed against various machines used in a single location, plan and manage the workload of personnel and increase efficiency. With the solution, tracking of the moving vehicles is possible by using a fleet management system that comes as an integration possibility where the movement of the vehicles can be tracked in real-time together with the assigned activities on the map.
