Overview

Ashes Artist Collective is an arts alumni multimedia production start-up dedicated to creating opportunity for recent art graduates and senior students reshaping how content is made in the pandemic and beyond. AAC brings together the most skilled entry-level professionals and and conducts writer workshops, produces short films and facilitates collaboration and networking through a hub connecting young artists of different fields. AAC works with multi-hyphenates and multifaceted arts creatives going from campus to career, from filmmakers and theatre artists to graphic designers and musicians. As of September 2020, AAC began pre-production for a diverse slate of 6 upcoming short films. Ashes' include comedies and dramas with stories that uplift women, POC and queer communities. Over the next 6 months, the company will produce and film all 6 short films in New York City as part of Ashes' 'Revival of New York'.
