Overview

The Younger Member Forum (YMF) serves as a group to facilitate growth from the student level to the professional level. The East Central Branch Younger Member Forum focuses on three main areas: Service, Social and Professional Development. East Central YMF participates in monthly service events to help those in need around the Central Florida community. Past events have included volunteering at a local Ronald McDonald House, Lake Cleanups, STEM Activities, Canine Companions, Orlando Science Center's Neanderthal Ball, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, school supply/toy drives and much more! In addition to serving our community, another big focus of the East Central YMF is the social aspect. Examples of past social events include Happy Hours, Canoeing, Volleyball, Flag Football and Rock Climbing. Professional Development is the third focus for the Group. East Central YMF spearheads several large annual professional development activities including Technical Seminars, Engineer for a Day, the Central Florida Field Trip and the Annual Branch Icebreaker event.
