Overview

The Artisan Gold Group (AGG) buys doré gold from artisan miners and refines it in its own refinery in the country of origin. The gold is bought at local prices and sold on the international markets. A proportion of profits will be reinvested in Artisan mining communities with the aim of lifting production capability, whilst reducing environment costs. This will have the combined benefit of securing regular supply for AGG, whilst the introduction of best practice and increased efficiency will boost returns for miners, whilst safeguarding their broader environment.
