Arroz Estúdios is a arts studio space and venue based in east Lisbon. Started in 2018 as a decentralized non-profit association, the organization now has over 37k members and hosts events everyday. As well as 12 artists studios, the space houses a large music venue, outdoor courtyard, pizzeria, 2 bars, 2 gallery spaces and a blockchain onboarding hub with NEAR protocol. Since mid-2020 the association has been experimenting with blockchain technology. In early 2021 the space co-founded the first crypto art & NFT festival in Europe, Rare Effect. Since then the team have gone on to co-found a membership NFT platform, EnrollMint and a music NFT platform Autonomies as well as working closely with NEAR protocol to onboard the member base.
