Arenamedia’s credits include the award-winning feature films THE BOYS, THE BANK, THREE DOLLARS, ROMULUS MY FATHER, BALIBO, THE TURNING and SPEAR. Its 2015 production, PAPER PLANES staring Ed Oxenbould and Sam Worthington, screened at the Toronto, Busan, London and Berlin Film Festivals and was one of the highest grossing Australian films that year. In 2017, Arenamedia released David Wenham’s ELLIPSIS and a new TV series THE WARRIORS, which brought together Australia’s leading Indigenous talent including Tony Briggs (THE SAPPHIRES) and Jon Bell (CLEVERMAN) for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. The company is currently in production with ACUTE MISFORTUNE, the directorial debut by actor Thomas M Wright, based on Erik Jensen's biography of Archibald Prize winner Adam Cullen, and in development with the adaptations of other iconic Australian books including Tim Winton’s BLUEBACK and Alison Lester’s MAGIC BEACH.
