The Center for Advanced Research in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security has been founded with the vision of conducting cutting-edge research in the fields of digital forensics and cyber security. It envisions to push the frontiers of forensic science by pursuing niche research in diverse domains of Cyber and Digital Forensics such as Mobile Forensics, Computer Forensics, and Network Forensics, along with Data Analytics. ARDC is supported by a team of forensic experts from various spheres and a Scientific Advisory Board comprising erudite research scholars, industry experts, and retired mavens who have experience and expertise in specialized forensic domains. This enables them to guide Law Enforcement Agencies and other organizations on the latest tools and technologies to identify cyber threats and mitigate them effectively. ARDC endeavors to offer the Government, Law Enforcement Agencies, private enterprises and the general public valuable insights on Cyber & Digital Forensics gained from its niche research in this domain. ARDC has partnered with ECIL and Anna University for providing certified courses on Cyber and Digital Forensics. According to Economic Times, 1 million Cyber Security professionals would be needed in India by 2020. ARDC shall be one of the prime contributors towards fulfilling this requirement by generating qualified and Trained Cyber and Digital Forensic Experts to serve the nation.
