Our story: Our origins began shortly before the 2008 financial crisis when our CEO, Maurice Grassau, was involved in the sale of a large commercial property that had stalled as a key document was missing. The day before the recession hit, the document was found and the sale went through. If the document had been found a day later, the transaction would have collapsed, costing the stakeholders millions. This is where the idea for Architrave, a one-stop solution for asset managers to gather and organise all of their docs and data, began. Four years later, in 2013, Architrave was founded in Berlin, bringing the world’s first real-estate data room to the market.
